Lake Winnipesaukee’s Premier Gated Community Celebrates Foliage

Fireworks over Meredith Bay

Laconia, New Hampshire (PRWEB) November 02, 2011

It was a night to remember at Meredith Bay when the four-season, resort-lifestyle community’s newest resident, Joe Deitch, threw a colorful party at his stunning home overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee. The focus of the event? The lake’s breathtaking autumn foliage. Deitch, who is also co-owner of Meredith Bay along with David Southworth, President & CEO of Southworth Development, created the Party at the Peak to share with his friends and colleagues all the beauty and excitement that abounds at Meredith Bay and the Lakes Region.

Meredith Bay residents, friends from the local community and others from as far away as Boston and New York City gathered to enjoy what Deitch called “A celebration of one of the biggest success stories in the Lakes Region.” Meredith Bay is the first gated community to be built on Lake Winnipesaukee in 13 years and just recently started construction on The Townhomes at Meredith Bay. Nearly half of these 19 luxury waterfront townhomes, which are located on the picturesque site of Look-Off Rock on Scenic Drive, have already been sold.

‘Over the Top’ was the theme of the evening. Spectacular views of the lake and its breathtaking fall foliage, a spellbinding fireworks display, sumptuous hors d’oeuvres and desserts provided by the talented culinary staff at Renaissance Golf Club – this party truly had it all.. Renaissance, the private club also owned by Deitch and Southworth in Haverhill, Mass., was recently named Golf Course of the Year by the New England Chapter of the National Golf Course Owners Association.

“Everything just blew us away,” said one party guest. “The spectacular views from Meredith Bay and the amazing display of fireworks – what a great way to celebrate fall – one of the best seasons on the lake.”

Deitch’s new home is a classic Adirondack style home perched high on a hill with commanding views of the lake and White Mountains. The home was chosen to be the 2009 New Hampshire Designer Showhouse, a month-long event that was attended by hundreds of people and successfully raised much-appreciated funding for local charities. When asked why he chose Meredith Bay for a vacation home, Deitch said: “Why wouldn’t I want to be here? The Lakes Region is stunningly beautiful, close to Boston and truly offers four-season, world-class enjoyment. Meredith Bay is perfectly situated right between the incredibly charming town of Meredith and the fun and nostalgic Weirs Beach area. Hiking, boating and skiing are just a few of the many things you can do for fun in the area, and the amenities of the development itself combine to make it all perfect. Oh, and by the way, my friends and family couldn’t be happier!”

Aw, this was a really great post. In theory I’d like to write like this also – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.
